Maldives

Are the islands of the Maldives truly the last paradise on earth? they certainly could be and lots of visitors seem to think so. Mauritius

A tropical paradise but more accessible to those with lower budgets. Although it's close to Africa, Mauritius is more influenced by its British and French ties and the workforce are mainly Indian. The winter occur is in May to Nov. With less rainfall and not too hot, this is probably the best time to visit. Dec to Apr is not a wise time to visit as the days can prove to be too hot and humid and there is the threat of cyclones. Exc peak cyclone season (Jan and Feb), December to March are the best months for diving, when the water is clear. Jun to Aug is best for surfing. Oct to Apr is best for big game fishing.
